Chapters

Expanding Horizons: Launching the Delhi Chapter

The Alumni Association of COEP aims to foster a strong network among alumni, providing more localized support, fostering a closer-knit community among our members, creating hubs of activities and engagement, provide a space for sharing experiences and insights, thereby contributing to the growth and development of COEP. In line with these objectives, we aim to establish chapters in major cities across Maharashtra and throughout India. Recently, we have established chapters in Nashik and Mumbai & we now are delighted to announce the formation of the Delhi & NCR chapter, which shall act as a dedicated platform for our esteemed alumni residing in and around Delhi. We encourage alumni to come forward and take the initiative in this expansion effort, helping us build a robust and dynamic network that benefits all members. To make this initiative successful, we invite you to join the Delhi & NCR Alumni Chapter.

COEP Alumni Mumbai Katta: A New Beginning for Alumni Connections

It is with great pleasure that we announce the establishment of the Alumni Association of COEP's Mumbai katta following the alumni meet at Nashik katta. On behalf of the organizing committee, extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined the Mumbai Katta meeting held on 29th May 2024. The event was a resounding success, graced by the distinguished presence of several luminaries. We were honored to have Mr. Vivek Phansalkar, Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, as well as the Chief Guest of the event, Dr. Sunil Bhirud, the dynamic Vice Chancellor of COEP Tech. Their presence, along with Mr. Rushikesh Humbe, Mr. Jagdish Kadam, Hon. Secretary of the Alumni Association, and a large number of alumni from Mumbai, added immense value and enriched the discussions throughout the event. A special thanks to the Mumbai Katta Core Committee team members - Mr. Sanjay Nikam and Mr. Vilas Kolhe - for their unwavering support in making this meet a tremendous success.

COEP Japan Chapter Launches with Enthusiastic Support

In a remarkable display of unity and commitment, the COEP Japan Chapter has officially launched, showcasing the strength and dedication of the COEP alumni network. This initiative, spearheaded by our esteemed President, Mr. Bharat Gite exemplifies the visionary leadership and engagement of our alumni community. What began as a concept just a week ago swiftly came to fruition, thanks to the spontaneous and enthusiastic response from COEP alumni in Tokyo. This rapid transformation from idea to action highlights the unbreakable bond shared among COEPians and their enduring connection with their alma mater. The recent gathering in Tokyo on September 7, 2024 served as a heartwarming reminder of the significant impact COEP alumni have made in Japan. It showcased the dedication of our global alumni community and reaffirmed COEP’s influence on the international stage. Mr. Bharat Gite expressed, "Today, I am filled with immense pride and amazed by the strength of the COEP alumni network.

COEP Pune Alumni - Nashik Katta meeting concluded on 27th April, 2024

College of Engineering (COEP) Pune Alumni Meet was held at Ashoka School, Arjun Nagar, Nashik. COEP Tech’s New Vice Chancellor Dr. Sunil Bhirud, former Vice-Chancellor and Alumni Coordinator, Dr. Sudhir Agashe, Secretary of Alumni Association Dr. Sujit Pardeshi, Governing Body Member of Alumni Association Mr. Rishikesh Humbe, Nashik Katta Chairman Mr. Ashok Katariya, Vice Chairman Mr. Vijay Baviskar, Treasurer Mr. Arvind Mahapatra, Coordinator Principal Mr. Prashant Patil and alumni from Nashik city were also present. Shri Ashok Katariya started the meeting with his welcome speech. In his speech, he gave information about various activities being implemented by COEP Alumni Katta in Nashik city and promised to help all the projects of the university. Principal Mr. Prashant Patil informed about the installation of oxygen plant (?48 lakh) by COEP Alumni Katta to Bytco Hospital during Covid period and also informed about various activities.

Another milestone in COEP Tech’s global journey! We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Europe Chapter of our COEP Alumni Network in Munich—further strengthening our ever-growing global community of innovators, leaders, and changemakers. With 100+ alumni joining in hybrid mode (online + offline), the event saw participation not just from Munich, but also from Graz (Austria), Zurich (Switzerland), and Hamburg (Germany). This overwhelming response truly reflects the deep-rooted bond COEPians share with their alma mater. During this journey, we also discovered that 150+ COEP Tech alumni are based in the UK—a testament to our strong international presence! Stay tuned as we work towards launching a UK Chapter soon.
