1. Purpose+

The Abhiman Award was instituted in 1993 by the COEP Alumni Association, in collaboration with the College of Engineering Pune (COEP), to honor and recognize distinguished alumni for their individual achievements, professional excellence, community service, and continued association with their alma mater.

In 2025, we expanded the recognition program by introducing three additional awards to celebrate alumni across diverse stages of their journey:

1.Prerana Award – Distinguished Service Award (Honoring an individual alumnus/alumna who has demonstrated exceptional commitment and support to the institute through sustained service and meaningful contributions).

2.Yuva Udyojak Award – Young Alumni Achiever Award (Recognizing an outstanding young entrepreneur (under the age of 40) who has demonstrated innovation, leadership, and significant achievements in their entrepreneurial journey)

3.Alumni Chapter Seva Award – Chapter Service Award (Presented to an individual who has made noteworthy contributions to the growth, engagement, and success of a COEP Alumni Chapter through dedicated service and leadership).
