Col G.S. Radkar and Mr. Atul Bapat (1985 batch) during the get together held on 15th March, 2025, visited Mechanical Engineering Drawing Hall building situated on the second floor which has a metal shed as covering. The alumni noted the room temperature in the hall and wondered how students can bear the heat in the Months of April-June and October. Col Radkar immediately shared an information that similar problem was resolved at Symbols institute by applying eco-friendly coat on the surface of the roof. He assured to volunteer to resolve the problem and took up the matter with his friends. Heartfelt thank you to our esteemed alumni Col. G.S. Radkar, N. Mohan, Sailesh Venkatraman, Jayendra Godse, and Shrikrishna Pande of 1985 Batch for their generous contribution towards applying a heat-resistant coat to the roof and glasses of the Mechanical Drawing Hall at COEP Technological University. This thoughtful initiative has significantly reduce the hall's temperature, ensuring a more comfortable working environment for our students.
