How alumni can contribute to Bhau Institute, COEP
It is my pleasure to give you this communication regarding Bhau Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Leadership which is coming up in COEP & nearing completion. this institute will be unique in nature probably first of its kind in India that has potential to cater the needs of industries, alumni, students & faculty. Bhau Institute is intended to bridge the gap between academics & practical reality in industrial world.
Mr. Narendra Kale, distinguished alumnus (1974 E&TC) dreamed this idea of establishing Bhau Institute & also donated one crore alongwith his close friend Mr. Sanjay Inamdar who also equally contributed to the cause. Last 2-3 years many innovative ideas & programmes were implemented through COEP students. "Ignited Innovators of India' is one of the platforms established to nurture talents & skills in students. I2 India Fellows' will have the opportunity to network with successful social entrepreneurs, gain leadership & experience.
In general, activities of Bhau Institute are spread in diverse fields including Entrepreneurship & Leadership course, Incubation & Innovation Centre, Lecture series, Internship opportunities to the students, company visits & skill   training, etc. More information is available on COEP website & attachment with this communication.
Alumni also will have immense opportunities to involve themselves directly or indirectly in various activities & programmes like expert lectures, work as mentors, providing training opportunities, offering projects to students, fund generation & so on.
I sincerely appeal to you to help Bhau Institute in whatever possible manner in terms of giving your valuable time, expertise & donations.
